Dave and Shelley spent a weekend on the Colorado River in the Black Canyon with their amazing friends Jonica and Ryan. They left from the Hoover Dam, and canoed 12 miles into Arizona to Willow Beach. There were several points of interest along the way. There were Sauna Springs - where, naturally, the temperature in these caves reach up to 130 degrees. There were also hot springs and these amazing water features. The four camped overnight at Arizona Hot Springs, and the next day finished up their trip. IT was a challenging finish though - the wind was really strong and tossed the canoes back and forth across the river. It was an amazing experience, and such a great time and we're very grateful to have been able to spend it with such wonderful friends!!!
