We drove out to California (Josie's 1st Time in Cali!) to visit the Date Ranch. Jonica & Ryan were going out to celebrate Ryan's birthday and invited us along. It took a little over an hour to get there - and it ended up being very quaint! It had several different kinds of Date Trees, and had a gift shop where they served basically EVERYTHING made from dates....milk shakes, cookies, bread, muffins, etc. It was all delicious! They also had some hiking trails which we checked out. Along the trails they had old abandoned cars, some looked like they dated back to gangster times! They also had an old home that was in definite disrepair. The best part of this whole place was that it was literally in the middle of nowhere! It is a small little area of "life" among an area of nothing.
