Someone Needs Stitches

Davey took a relatively easy fall off a chair outside that sits about 6 inches off the ground.  A tumble, really.  However, this tumble resulted in a cut that slit above his eyebrow.  There was a lot of blood.  Shelley was home with the kids, and took all three to urgent care after being unable to stop the bleeding.  After over an hour in the waiting room, we were finally called back.  (at this point, Davey had fallen several other times in the waiting room which kept the cut bleeding and gushing). They determined that he needed at least 3 stitches.  The girls waited in a waiting area down the hall as Shelley assisted the nurse and doctor by holding him down.  They attempted to wrap him up in a bed sheet and pillowcase that was sorely unhelpful at keeping him swaddled, but the stitches went in and we all survived the ordeal!
