We had our Gibson Staff Party. We were able to spend a lot of time with the other teachers and afterward a group of us hung out at our house for a bonfire. It was the first time we were able to hang out with the other teachers and our friends since we got back to Vegas.
Shelley stood as a Bridesmaid in her friend Sarah's wedding (a friend from college). The wedding was held in Sandwich, IL. Dave and Shelley spent the weekend in the area. We had the rehearsal dinner, Fancy Fire & of course the wedding day!
We attended the wedding of Jessica & Enrique, (Jessica was a childhood friend of Shelley's). We had a great time, and Dave learned how to do the "Solider Boy" dance!
We spent a few days in Prairie du Chen, Wisconsin visiting Dave's cousin Sue and her two kids: Paige and Brett. It was very nice to see them, and spend time with them!
One of our last nights in IL, for the summer, we spent at the Rockford Riverhawks Game...Melissa & Shelley were talked into participating in one of the inning games! It was a really nice, getting to spend "One Last Night" with everyone!
Sarah Slater celebrated her 25th Birthday by inviting a bunch of us over to her house. We played Guitar Hero, Bags and ate A LOT! It was a really nice, easy time!
We attended Cooper & Wyatt's first football game of the season, with Shelley's mom. They both played SO well...and made us so proud!!!
Scott and Kelly had an end of the summer "Frozen Drinks Party." We got to spend some more time with our friends and had a great time!
Shelley's Grandpa Lowell celebrated his 80th birthday with a small party. A lot of family was able to be there, as well as many of his friends. Yeah Grandpa!
Shelley went to the Sheryl Crow / James Blunt concert with her friend Jackie...they actually filmed the concert for A&E...They had AMAZING 2nd Row seats...and will definatly be on A&E. It's a definate DVR episode!
